Welcome to Rankki! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Rankki website dashboard and browser extension. By creating an account and using our service, you agree to comply with these Terms.

1. Account Creation and Security

To use Rankki, you must register for an account on our website.

  • Valid Email Requirement: To create an account, you only need to provide a valid email address. You agree that the email provided is accurate, belongs to you, and will be kept up to date for account and subscription communications.
  • No Account Sharing & Automatic Logout: Your website dashboard account is strictly for your personal or individual business use, and sharing your login credentials is prohibited. To allow you to switch between devices while preventing unauthorized sharing, our system enforces one active session at a time. If our system detects a new login, it will automatically log you out of any previous sessions on other devices.
  • Security: You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account access and any associated passwords or login links.

2. Payments, License Keys, and Usage Limits

Our premium features are accessed via a purchased license key.

  • Payment Processor: All purchases and transactions are securely processed through our official Merchant of Record, Polar. By purchasing a Rankki subscription, you also agree to Polar’s terms during checkout.
  • One Key for Both: After completing your purchase on Polar, you will be issued a single, unique access key (license key). This one key is used to activate both your Rankki website dashboard and your Rankki extension.
  • License Key Usage Limits: Your single purchased key has strict usage limits:
    • Website Dashboard: The key is valid to activate 1 website account.
    • Extension: The key may be used to activate the Rankki extension on up to 3 accounts/devices simultaneously.
  • System Enforcement: These limits are automatically enforced by our system. If you attempt to activate the extension on a 4th account or device, the system will block the new activation. It will not revoke your key; your 3 previously activated extensions and your dashboard will remain open and functioning normally.

3. Refund Policy

All payments, subscriptions, and refund requests are governed by our official Refund Policy. Please refer to that policy for rules regarding our 7-day refund window, eligibility criteria, and auto-renewals.

4. Acceptable Use

By using the Rankki extension and dashboard, you agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or copy the code of our website or extension.
  • Use the service for any illegal activities, spam, or malicious purposes.
  • Attempt to bypass our security measures, device limits, or license key validation systems.

5. Intellectual Property

Rankki owns all rights, titles, and interests in the website, dashboard, extension, logos, and original content. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software as long as you maintain an active, paid subscription and adhere to your key limits.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Rankki is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. While we strive for 100% uptime, we do not guarantee that the extension or dashboard will be completely free of bugs, errors, or interruptions.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rankki and its creators shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of data, lost profits, or business interruptions) arising out of your use or inability to use our tools.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account and use of the Rankki service immediately, without prior notice or refund, if you violate any of these Terms (such as engaging in illegal activities, reverse engineering, or attempting to bypass our security systems).
